The service

Verduni provides language learning through reading, dictionary lookups, PDF and eBook import, page scanning and vocabulary practice in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese. These terms apply together with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Free version

Free use includes unlimited Quick translate, the offline dictionary, two A1 stories to read in full, browsing all story titles and pictures, five word translations in scanned pages, PDFs, eBooks and images, and five flashcard questions. Free allowances are stored on your device.

Premium, subscriptions and lifetime

Premium unlocks every story at every level, unlimited word translations in scans, PDFs, eBooks and images, and unlimited flashcard practice. Monthly and annual subscriptions are charged to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings or in Verduni under Profile → Manage subscription; access continues until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Lifetime is a single payment without renewal and can be restored with Restore purchases using the same Apple Account. The price, currency and taxes shown by Apple at checkout apply.

Refunds and withdrawal

Purchases are processed by Apple. Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. Statutory withdrawal rights and remedies, including the 14-day withdrawal period for EU consumers where applicable, remain unaffected.

Content

Use imported documents only where you have the necessary rights. Dictionary content is derived from Wiktionary under CC BY-SA 4.0; licences and attributions are shown in the app. Purchasing Premium does not grant ownership of third-party content.

Learning material

Translations and difficulty levels can contain mistakes. They are learning aids, not professional or certified translations.
